Trapia is situated in Malaysia, and supply high quality fillets and loins to the high end tilapia market. Although with only 3 years of operation the company is in compliance with all major global seafood industry standards for the high end tilapia markets. This includes, 2 star BAP-certification from ACC/GOA, Global GAP, EU-farm export registration, EMAS (Environmental Management Audit Scheme – ISO 14001), SPALM (Malaysian Aquaculture Farm Certification Scheme), ASC / ISRTA (Aquaculture Stewardship Council / International Standard for Responsible Tilapia Aquaculture), Halal – certification and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standard.
